Happy Holidays
Happy Holidays! Tis’ the season for the seeds of joy, peace, and love to be scattered throughout the world. At least that is how I picture the holiday season.
I have been busy writing out several hundred cards and sending them off to people I care about in my life. Presently, I am looking at the cards and photos that others have sent me with love and appreciation. Multi-colored lights brighten my home and warm me to the core. My sister Jan’s present from many years ago, hand-stitched stockings, hang from the fireplace. They truly represent a labor of love.
Tonight, I watched “Miracle On 34th Street.” I love seeing the Macy’s Parade with huge floats flying through the air. Kris Kringle makes me believe in the spirit of Christmas.... spreading the love and joy to all. He has a way of bringing people together and making wishes come true. I’m certain “It’s A Wonderful Life” will enter the picture at some point and bring tears to my eyes as I think of my brother Ronny.
Soon I will be with family and friends, sharing holiday cheer. It will be cold outside but toasty inside. I look forward to the celebration and reconnecting with everyone.
Wishing you and yours a happy, healthy, and safe holiday season. Be well... Nancy T.
