Twenty-five years ago
January 1986. That was the year that I graduated from the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics, the Chicago Bears won the Super Bowl, and the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded.
Since then, many bodies have passed beneath my hands. The healing and sharing that has taken place has not only impacted my clientele, it has touched me deeply. It is always amazing to watch people enter and exit my therapy space. The change is remarkable. Sometimes, we all need a little care.
On Sunday, the Bears will be playing the Packers for a slot in the "2011 Super Bowl." Can they pull it off? Will they win a spot in the BIG GAME? If the confident Cutler steps up they may have a shot... if the scaredy-cat Cutler arrives you can say so long. The 1986 Super Bowl Shuffle Dream Team, Sweetness, the Punkie QB, the Fridge, Samurai Mike, is one to remember. Hopefully, they can pass on some of the groove.
The explosion of the Space Shuttle Challenger coincided with my departure from New Mexico. I was heading home, back to Chicago, to put my new skills to work. A new me, one with a changed attitude and a whole bunch of holistic spunk was headed to Chi-town to rock its world. And BAM. . . the shuttle explodes. What a tragedy.

Nanc, I think the scaredy-cat Cutler show up unfortunately.

Indeed. AND the fright went into his knee... go figure. There was no shuffle in the Bears yesterday. I can't believe the score showed a fairly close game. Thanks for the message Mark. Be well.. Nancy T.
