Honoring the Nature of Mother
I am fortunate to still have my mother here on Earth with me. She is well and physically fit; recently eighty years young. I admire her stamina and her ability to keep going. Lor enjoys being with her family–it’s good that she created such a large crew. Her interest in the health profession may have rubbed off on me. Sleeping through the night, the desire to be physically active, and her care of others has certainly seeped into my genes.
Recently, it seems Mother Earth has been screaming at us. Tsunamis, earthquakes and tornadoes as of late. There is a churning here on Earth. The Mayan calendar puts the end of the Earth in 2012. I’m not sure that it will be “the end,” but I hope that it is the end of certain things, and the beginning of others.
We seem to be stuck in patterns* that don’t work for us. Mother Nature stirs it up and we take momentary notice. Then we go back to business as usual. Humans are such creates of habit. We expect change, say that we desire change, and then we act the same way.
I donated funds to the people of Japan. More funds are needed as another disaster has struck here in the U.S.A. I think Mother Earth is telling us to clean our rooms or she will do it for us.
Look around and see what you can do to support Mother Earth. Today is her day to shine as it is for all the woman who love and nurture us on a daily basis. Happy Mother’s Day... thanks for all that you do for me. I really do appreciate it all. And remember, it’s not nice to fool with Mother Nature. Be well... Nancy T.
