Reality

What is YOUR reality?

Being in the islands for a month established a new reality for me–a very relaxed reality. By leaving behind my computer, as well as other daily rituals, I experienced life in a different way. I soon realized that in my “old” reality, I was over-thinking many things. Yet, when I dropped my head into the clear Caribbean Sea, the fog lifted and my reality shifted.

Sometimes our minds create our reality–good or bad. We simply attach to something and we are unable see anything else.

My Caribbean adventure revealed several choices. Each and every one of us has a choice and each day we focus upon our choice. There are the doomsayers and the lovers of life. I sure like the latter.

When I love life, I feel gratitude and that brings greater appreciation which, in turn, brings a smile to my face. Hanging out in the water, as I follow the turtles and rays, opens my heart and shows me the wonders of life. Laughing with the people I love makes me know life is a joy to live. Being in the moment, I discover gift after gift.

Energy follows thought... in other words, what I focus upon is what I see and feel. It becomes my reality. So, why not see what is right there, the magic, the awe, the beauty in life and it will appear.

Make your reality what you love and that will furnish love in return. What goes around, comes around. I think I have lived that reality before... and I like it! Be well... Nancy T.

Yes, interesting how still waters, clear mountain ranges and loving people if experienced fully without the chatter, quench the spirit.

    Thank for this writing Nancy

So many things good for our spirit if we let them in. See what you need to see, feel what you need to feel and embrace it all. Be well...  Nancy T.

I was just thinking about reality this morning - I was smiling as I was putting away things from our breakfast - how simply wonderful reality can be. Smiling dogs with their contagious zest for life, a loving partner, a home that we love, and a life we've built - together. Life is good....reality is good. Thanks for the post, Nancy - love your blog! Hugs, Alisa
